저는 누나가 네 분 계신 집안의 막내입니다. 그중 큰누님 부부께서 파크골프를 좋아하셔서 자주 즐기시는데, 이번에는 제가 가족 모두 함께 가자고 제안했습니다.
이번 일정은 부부 동반 구성으로 맞추었고, 둘째 누님은 사정상 매형이 함께하지 못해 혼자 참여하셨습니다. 결과적으로 9명의 가족이 3명씩 3팀으로 나뉘어 경기를 즐기는 형식이 되었습니다. 가족이 함께 새로운 활동을 즐길 수 있어 저로서는 매우 의미 있는 시간이었습니다.
III. 쾌적한 36홀, 대부도파크골프리조트
리조트는 9홀 4개 코스, 총 36홀로 구성되어 있었습니다. 넓고 개방감 있는 잔디 위에서 여유롭게 플레이할 수 있다는 점이 인상적이었습니다. 다행스럽게도 방문했던 일요일에 사람이 많지 않았습니다. 덕분에 우리 일행은 각자의 속도대로 여유롭게 코스를 경험할 수 있었습니다.
잔잔한 숲과 잔디가 시야를 넓게 열어줘 골프를 잘 모르는 사람도 부담 없이 즐길 수 있는 분위기였습니다.
IV. 나의 첫 파크골프, 생각보다 더 즐거운 몰입
저는 이번에 처음 파크골프를 접했습니다. 익숙하지 않아도 시도해보는 것 자체가 재미가 되었고, 가족들과 함께 웃으며 잔디 위를 누비는 시간이 참 소중하게 느껴졌습니다.
다른 누님들, 매형들도 한 코스씩 돌며 자연스레 경기에 몰입하셨습니다. 가족이 함께 움직이고, 함께 웃는 활동이 이렇게 좋다는 걸 새삼 느끼게 됩니다.
V. 큰매형의 홀인원!
그중에서도 가장 기억에 남는 장면은 큰매형의 홀인원입니다. 파3 홀에서 정확하게 공이 홀컵으로 빨려 들어가는 순간, 모두가 깜짝 놀랐습니다.
특히 당시 큰매형과 한 팀이었던 셋째 매형과 막내 매형이 그 광경을 바로 옆에서 지켜보며 함께 환호했습니다. 주변에서 작은 환호가 나오며 분위기가 더욱 밝아졌습니다.
저는 직접 보지는 못했고, 매형들이 보내준 사진으로 봤습니다.
홀인원으로 기분이 좋으셨는지 큰매형께서 저녁 식사까지 기분 좋게 챙겨주셨습니다. 덕분에 하루의 마무리까지 따뜻했습니다.
VI. 실력보다 소중한 '함께한 시간'
이번 방문은 파크골프가 단순히 새로운 스포츠를 배우는 자리가 아니라, 가족이 함께 보내는 시간의 가치를 다시 느끼게 한 순간이었습니다. 대부도의 넉넉한 자연 속에서 답답한 일상에서 잠시 빠져나오는 느낌도 있었습니다.
초겨울의 기운이 가벼이 내려앉은 잔디 위에서 가족들과 함께 36홀을 돌아본 경험은 기억에 오래 남을 여정이었습니다. 스포츠 실력보다 중요한 건 그 순간을 '누구와 함께하느냐'라는 생각이 듭니다.

I. 36 Holes, 9 Family Members
Last November 9th, at 11 AM, I visited Daebudo with my family. The purpose of the day was park golf. At the Daebudo Park Golf Resort, which had just opened at the end of October, we formed family teams and enjoyed a 36-hole game.
II. A Special Time with Family
I am the youngest in a family with four older sisters. My eldest sister and her husband enjoy park golf often, and this time, I suggested that the whole family go together.
We planned for couples to attend, but my second sister's husband couldn't make it, so she joined by herself. As a result, 9 family members split into 3 teams of 3 to enjoy the game. It was a very meaningful time for me, as we could enjoy a new activity together as a family.
III. The Pleasant 36-Hole Daebudo Park Golf Resort
The resort consisted of four 9-hole courses, totaling 36 holes. It was impressive that we could play leisurely on the wide, open grass. Fortunately, it wasn't crowded on the Sunday we visited. Thanks to this, our group could experience the courses at our own pace.
The calm forest and grass opened up the view, creating an atmosphere where even those unfamiliar with golf could enjoy it without feeling pressured.
IV. My First Park Golf, More Immersive Than I Thought
This was my first time trying park golf. Even though I was unfamiliar with it, the act of trying was fun in itself, and the time spent roaming the grass, laughing with my family, felt incredibly precious.
My other sisters and brothers-in-law also naturally became immersed in the game as we completed each course. It made me realize once again how wonderful it is to move together and laugh together as a family.
V. My Eldest Brother-in-Law's Hole-in-One!
The most memorable moment of all was my eldest brother-in-law's hole-in-one. Everyone was astonished at the moment his ball accurately sank into the hole cup on a Par 3 hole.
My third and youngest brothers-in-law, who were on his team at the time, were right beside him and cheered together. A small cheer erupted from those around us, brightening the atmosphere even more.
I didn't see it in person, but I saw the photo my brothers-in-law sent me.
Perhaps because he was in such a good mood from the hole-in-one, my eldest brother-in-law happily treated everyone to dinner. Thanks to him, the day ended warmly.
VI. 'Time Spent Together' is More Precious Than Skill
This visit wasn't just about learning a new sport; it was a moment that made me feel the value of time spent together as a family. It also felt like a brief escape from the stuffiness of daily life amidst the abundant nature of Daebudo.
The experience of walking 36 holes with my family on the grass, lightly touched by the early winter air, will remain a long-lasting memory. It makes me think that what's more important than sporting skill is 'who you are with' at that moment.
